This was my simple outfit a few weeks ago to work. It was one of those days when the weather wasn't so hot and wasn't so cold but it was supposed to still be a winter day. A basic all black outfit with a pop of colour. I just started doing freelance book editing on the side so I was off to a meeting with my first ever client. Its a mix of formal and informal; just enough to say I'm here for business but I'm not going to be uncomfortable while I'm at it. For me it was the perfect mix of warm enough, cool enough and business enough.
I worked for a few years in a structured work environment where my outfits were just monotone and boring so anytime I get the opportunity to mix comfort and colour, I'm all about it.
What is your go-to signature informal work outfit? Once upon a time, I used to be nice and skinny but now that I've gotten a bit fuller, I wear black to give me the illusion of being slender LOL!
