FOUR OF MY FAVOURITE PINTEREST MAKE UP LOOKS

I've been loving Pinterest lately and it has been my go-to for all my style, home and make up inspiration. There's literally any and every thing on Pinterest  and it's a great place to get ideas for whatever it is you need inspiration for. To be honest, I only recently got on Pinterest and already I've got like 25 different boards that I keep adding images, funny and motivational quotes to; so if you want to check out or follow any of my boards, I just go by "Uche" and it's also a great place to go if you are just looking to find motivation and re-assurance for whatever you may be going through. It's awesome!!

So recently, I decided to re-create some make-up looks I found and have been loving (I have a board for that as well..LOL) and put my own spin on them. Whenever I'm not sure what make-up look to go for when I'm going out, I simply go to my Pinterest board, find something I've saved and use that as a guide to come up with something that looks good. I was inspired by 4 different looks and decided to try to interpret them using the make-up products I have AND it was a good excuse to practice putting on false lashes because I'm still not good at doing that yet. The looks I came up with are Glam, Smokey, Wedding Guest Inspired and Dramatic:

The caption on the Pinterest look said 'Zsa Zsa Cosmetics Dreamy Liquid Lipstick' so I guess the focal point of the look was the lips but I loved the make-up and thought it looked super glamorous; one I would wear if I were going to a classy evening event or maybe even on a red carpet. I tried to pose the exact way the models did in all the photos but couldn't get my neck or my teeth to co-operate without looking like a complete idiot so I just did my own thing!

This look was a smokey eye look that I haven't ever really worn in real life but always like how it looks when I see it. The caption on the image read ' 21 Smokey Eye Make Up Ideas To Look Exceptional' and I couldn't agree more. I think I'll be doing more of these looks now because it just elevates the face in an extremely flattering way.

Then I tried a look I felt could be worn to a wedding and loved how bright but soft the make-up was. I did my best to interpret it in my own way by reversing the drama of the gold eye shadow and having that reflect in my lashes instead. As you can see, I think I'm getting the hang of it little by little but gosh it takes a minute to get it looking just right. I really liked the soft, glossy lip and didn't realize I could look half decent without using a  lip liner.

The final look I went for was a dramatic one and I say dramatic mainly because of the darkness of the lips, eyes and falsies. I just think the look is badass and who is more badass than Rih Rih? Frankly, I would rock this look in the day or at night because that's how much I love it and even though I don't look nearly as banging as the model or Rihanna, I don't think I did too badly with my own interpretation of the look.

So what did you guys think? Were there any looks you liked or will be trying? Will you be using Pinterest for inspiration now if you haven't been already? If you do have a Pinterest account and would like me to follow or check it out, link it below. I will also be recreating a few of my favourite outfit looks also from Pinterest soon so look out for that but in the meantime, thanks for being here and have a great weekend. Happy Eid Mubarak to my Muslim sisters and brothers!!

Love Always.
