People love summer for lots of reasons but in particular because it's travel season, bikini season and wedding season. Many intending couples plan their weddings during this time to take advantage of the warm, sunny weather and wedding guests in particular probably also appreciate this for a chance to flaunt their fun, flirty outfits ready to dance the night away.
While I don't yet have any weddings lined up, I have on stand by 4 cute summer wedding guest outfits ready to go in the event that one pops up. Different types of weddings do call for different outfits and it's always fun to dress to suit the theme as best as you can.
Take for example, a more traditional type of wedding, it would probably be inappropriate to go bearing a ton of cleveage so my suggestion would be to go for something chic and tasteful like this co-ord set I got from Shein a while ago and previously styled here.
I broke up the look with a black dress belt and kept my accessories simple with a gold choker, stud earrings and a structured black and gold purse.
Makeup is also simple and my natural hair is pulled up to keep the whole look effortless and elegant and appropriate for just such a traditional summer wedding.
For an outdoor style wedding, a cute summer outfit would be this peachy pastel dress with floral details that I wore to a wedding last year. The rouching on the waist area is very flattering to the figure and hides any unruly food babies that may threaten to ruin your sexy.
Paired with my peach purse, pearl drop earrings and burgundy pumps, everything complements the dress making it the stand out piece and perfect for an outdoor wedding event.
The dress also transitions very well into the night and you wouldn't need to change a single thing. That's another reason why this is a good pick for that outdoor summer wedding.
Another type of summer wedding is a beach themed wedding. This style of wedding has a more relaxed feel and you can certainly play with your outfits to flaunt your legs and shoulders. I picked this lilac playsuit with a back skirt that I think would fit the theme nicely.
I really love this look because it has the right amount of girly-ness you want at a beach wedding. Of course, you don't want to wear heels in the sand so a high wedge would be more of a go-to in this case.
Again, simple jewelry and makeup is best for this look to keep the focus on all the beautiful details of the dress like the lace detail on top, the sweetheart neckline and its colorful floral design.
Last but not least is this purple floral jumpsuit with ruffle sleeves that you could wear to a nice early evening wedding. A jumpsuit is a great easy choice because it's one piece and you don't have to think too much about it.
Accessorized simply with a small pink purse, gold choker and single gold bracelet, the look is complete. If you like, you can add a solid color dress belt perhaps in pink or purple to break things up.
Of course, anything with pockets is a win for me!😍
Also, hair accessories like flower crowns and bows add an extra touch plus its always a good idea to go light on your jewelry. Let one thing be the stand out piece which could be a cool ring or a nice necklace and you will be on your way to being one of the cutest looking wedding guests at your next summer wedding.
