Hi Guys! So it's another Saturday and therefore it's time for another review. This time, I'm highlighting one of my new favorite things to do - eat at Asian buffets around town!
When I tell you that Asian Buffets are my new found love, I'm not exaggerating. They are literally scattered all over Dallas or should I say Texas that it seems like you drive past one every 30 minutes. STAR Seafood & Sushi Buffet is literally the one that started it all for me. It's the very first one I ever went to and still actually go to today.
As with most buffets, there is a mouth watering array of foods and desserts to pig out on and for a foodie like me, this is a dream come true. I'm talking salads, fruits, pasta, noodles, veggies, different flavors of chicken, fish, beef and my personal favorite, shrimps.
There are also sushi options, pizza, clams, craw fish, soups, fries, sausages and a sinfully delicious dessert selection. Everything always tastes impeccably fresh, delicious and hot enough to eat.
The restaurant is so spacious and clean, the staff are courteous and always ready to refill your drink of water, sweet tea or choice of soda, pick up used dishes and promptly bring you the bill after you are done. I come here so often that the lady at the front desk who seats customers as they walk in greets me with a warm hug and a smile as soon as I come in.
There are 2 private dining areas here for large parties and definitely all kinds of people come here for a taste of Asia. As I said, myself and bae usually make date night of this place because the food is amazing of course and it's super affordable. I'm talking less than $30 for all we can eat!!
There are so many other Asian buffets around town that I've been to like Kings Buffet, Yellow Tail Sushi & Grill, Great Wall Buffet and Japan House. They are always packed full with people and their families coming here to eat all they can literally eat! The experience is the same and for some, the array of food is even larger with some having open kitchens where your food can be cooked while you wait.
STAR Seafood & Sushi Buffet is located at 3305 Central Expressway, #275, Plano, TX 75023. They are open every day except Tuesdays with dinner dining starting at 5pm till about 10 and 11pm on weekends. Hope you try it out if you are ever in the area.
