MY SUMMER SHOPPING FINDS PT 1/ TOPE AKWADA/ 12 OCTOBER

I shopped so much and so often this past summer that I'm not sure just how many items in total I got. So I've decided that I can only feature a few finds at one time per post which means I hope you are ready for a mild case of picture overload.

For today, the above image highlights just a few of the stuff I've purchased in the past couple of months. I have tons of new clothes, footwear, jewelry and accessories.

A lot of the jewelry I got came from Rue21, Charlotte Russe and Walmart. The black straw purse is from Forever 21 that was on clearance for $4 while the brown mini bag I got also on clearance for $2 at Walmart.

If you know me, you know my mini obsession with rings and I got 2 different sets from Charlotte Russe for just under $8 each. Then I fell in love with this Virgo necklace from Walmart obviously because that's my zodiac sign and it cost only $4.

For my clothes, I shopped everywhere from Ross and Burlington to Target and JC Penney. A few items came from Cotton On, Charlotte Russe as usual and Forever 21.

This multi color wrap dress was from Forever 21 that cost me less than $10. I wore it out to brunch but paired it with shorts and sandals for the summer. I have it styled here with boots because I plan on transitioning it to a Fall piece as well.

Maxi dresses and skirts are always a win for me so any chance I get to buy one, I'm taking it which was the case for this skirt from Charlotte Russe that cost me only $5.

I wore it out to dinner and the movies just as I styled it but will be re-rocking it with some ankle booties and turtle neck sweaters for the Fall.

I got my hands on several pairs of shorts mostly from JC Penney retailing at $4 per pair. The white ones turned out to be my favorite because it pairs so well with everything.

Although not pictured in the above photograph, below are at least 2 pictures of me rocking the white shorts at different times.

Here, I was at the lake in Lewisville, feeling sick but still able to pose for a picture! My top is coincidentally a new buy also from the lovely folks at JC Penney who have been having the most amazing clearance sales of all time.

I tend to gravitate to anything that is striped so when I spotted this red and white striped shirt dress at Burlington for $9.99, you know I had to grab it.

I like any outfit that has a nautical-like theme to it because I find them to be incredibly flattering on me.

You have already seen my lovely mustard yellow birthday dress from Target on the blog and also on my Instagram that made for the perfect chic and comfy look for my special day.

The back of the dress was elasticated so it did not feel stuffy or tight in the bust area which I appreciated a lot.

Last but not least is this nude maxi dress with a ruffle and faux wrap detail I got at Target for exactly $4.54.

I'm usually not the girl who likes to wear ruffle but this outfit was too cute to pass up. I have it styled in this image  with some platform heels from Forever 21 for $7 if I'm not mistaking

But I styled it more casually here with flats on a trip to the mall with the fam.

I have so many fashion finds from this summer to share with you so it's quite possible that I will highlighting them over these last few months in the year.

Hope you enjoyed today's finds and if you did, lets do it again in the next few weeks.

Always Love 💕
