As you know, I'm all about affordable living so be it with where I go to eat, what makeup products I use or my fashion choices, they are all budget friendly buys. Until I officially become a "baller", I'm not keen on spending my coin like one.
My personal style keeps evolving and regardless of what vibe I'm going with in the moment, it's got to be a vibe that my pocket can accommodate. Shopping affordable pieces does for my soul what a good workout does for the body so when I come across incredible pieces for way less money, I bust out a happy dance. These are 3 outfits under $50 to rock this winter season like a boss...

Collectively, this entire look cost $42 to put together. Each individual piece came from the clearance/sales section of a different store. The teddy coat is fluffy, warm, comfortable on the skin and cost $5 from COTTON ON. I bought this last holiday season from their store in North Park Mall and it's been serving me well this winter season.
Coincidentally. the shorts also came from CottonOn but at a different mall and it retailed for $10. These gorgeous knee length boots are from K&G Fashion and they were on sale for $20. All in all, I think the whole look screams sophisticated chic and knowing that I achieved this at bargain prices makes me a happy bird.
I introduced you guys to this outfit in my my last shopping finds post but only featured the $5 T-shirt from 5 BELOW. The denim jacket was also $5 from a random store while my white jeans were on sale for $15. My red sneakers are from TARGET and they cost approximately $20.
This is how I love to dress every day when the weather lets up a bit and we can go without wearing so many layers. It's my interpretation of winter casual without compromising my own personal style. So if you didn't do the math already, head to toe look cost $45 total.
This super comfy jumpsuit was also a feature in my New Year New Me, New Year Same Me post that I got at ROSS for exactly $7.48. In this first look I styled it casually with my trusty white sneakers from PAYLESS but see how I dressed it up in the image below by just adding a separate piece and switching out my sneakers for heels.
Instantly, the look goes from movie babe to date night ready just with 2 pieces and the versatility of the jumpsuit is a favorite with fashionistas for its ability to pair well with other staple basics. If I wanted to elevate the look even more, I would carry a small gold clutch purse and switch out my jewelry to something flirty and feminine.
In Style, there are really no rules. Do what works for your taste and what suits your frame best. Trends come and go but personal style is truly forever and that is your signature to the world every time you walk into a room.
Which of the above looks will you be rocking this winter? How can you switch things up so they work for you? Comment below...
