MY SHOPPING FINDS: CHRISTMAS GIFT EDITION

Who doesn't like receiving gifts during the holiday season? I certainly do. I look forward to it like my 4 and 8 year old niece and nephew on Christmas morning without shame.

This is the one time of year my sister will get me anything I ask for ( that's within her budget of course, lol!) so best believe I take advantage of that. In fact, I start making a list of things I want early on in the year with periodic adjustments so that when the time finally comes to give her my 3 options, I'm certain that I will get 2 out of the 3. I love it! Ha!!

2019, no different to its predecessor, I asked for 3 different things and received 2 that I'm very happy about. I asked for a pair of converse sneakers, open toe booties and a coat. I got the coat and sneakers and have been wearing them endlessly on repeat.

The coat was from an Asian seller on Amazon (see link here ) and it's surprisingly good quality. It warms me up perfectly and is definitely being put to good use this winter season.

The converse sneakers are certainly a good replacement alternative for my old Payless ones and I also am enjoying wearing them. Not sure where she got them from but thankfully, it was within her budget 😀

My mom also usually asks what I would like for Christmas but unlike my sister, I don't get options. It's one and done with her and you better stick within her very strict budget otherwise you get a mug that says 'World's Best Daughter' and be on your way. LOL!

Fortunately I'm always prepared for her so I knew I wanted this red newsboy bag I had seen at Ross that was just under budget. It's a nice addition to my collection and it's also been getting a lot of love lately.

I treated myself to some cool Tshirts from 5 Below this christmas too because why not? I wanted to improve my collection and so I picked up about 4 different shirts from the store's impressive selection.

Each shirt cost $5 a piece and they work for not so cold winter days when I want to go for a look that's cool. casual and chic. I also picked up a pair of black joggers and got an extra one from the baby sis in pink.

Hoping to style these in the coming days/weeks so make sure to follow me on Instagram to see what I come up with.

What did you get for Christmas? Did you get stuff you actually wanted/asked for? Share in the comments.

Always Love 💓
