If you are a woman, then you have definitely at one point or another felt like you've had nothing to wear even with a closet full of clothes. I've begun to feel more and more like I've got nothing to wear out and resort to jeans and a shirt more often than I'd like to admit.
However, I'm determined to start shopping my closet to find outfits I can wear to different events and occasions. I've managed to put together some looks to help me (and maybe you) eliminate the frustrating process of trying to figure out what to wear when we start to feel like we've got nothing to wear. So get a pen and pad, you're gonna wanna take down some notes/inspiration!๐
1. First on the list is CO-ORDS: Co-ord sets are officially here to stay with almost every fashion outlet offering a mouth watering selection to choose from. Pant. skirt and short co-ords automatically take away the guess work of outfit pairings but of course can still be worn as separates with other pieces in your closet.
Skirt Co-ord Set - Burlington for $12.99
Pant Co-ord Set - Tailor Made
2. PLEATED SKIRTS - These are a great alternative to all the jeans we like to wear everywhere. They pair great with sneakers, flats, wedges or heels and look just as good with cool graphic tees or sexy satin camisoles.
Floral Pleated Skirt - Walmart for $7
Polka Dot Pleated Skirt - Walmart for $3
3. T-SHIRT DRESSES - Shirt dresses are like jumpsuits, one and done. That's why I like them. T-Shirt dresses can be dressed up or down, paired with jackets, blazers or kimonos. They are great to wear to movie dates and brunches.
Orange T-Shirt Dress - Target for $8.40
Peach T-Shirt Dress - Walmart for $9.90
In my opinion, these simple and inexpensive outfits all help you figure out what to wear when you have nothing to wear. I'll share a secret with you guys and let you know that every one of these outfits still had the tags on them๐. That's to tell you that I too really struggle with finding outfits to wear because I'm convinced that I have nothing in my closet. I bought these clothes for the very reason I'm writing this blog post now so I guess I'm challenging myself to make the effort to wear other things because clearly I've got a few.
Did this help anyone? Which outfit was your favorite? Comments welcome!!
Excess Love,
Ibogirl
