Okay ya'll, I'm about to do something in CRAZY FAITH that I believe God has instructed for me to do. For the next few weeks till the first Thursday in November, I will be blogging about a topic I have been learning and this is the 2nd step in obedience to God given instructions regarding EXCESS LOVE. A business idea I birthed earlier this year that was just about thrifting and gifting but have now fully surrendered  to God to take it where He wants it to go.

The Ezer Kenegdo Woman is the God given identity we have as women to express His influence in the lives of the men associated/attached to us : those present and those to come and in the world. Exposing the truth behind this identity to women who desire to do marriage God's way is the goal for these next couple of posts.

Now I know that some of you may be wondering how I hope to talk about anything marriage related when I failed at the one I was in. In fact, I am probably the least likely person to take tips or notes from and trust me when I say that I am just as skeptical as you but I believe that there is something God wants to do by reminding us about who He created us to be and He wants to convey it through me, knowing that I also need these lessons for myself. My faith in knowing that God trusts me with this assignment is anchored in the Scripture 1 Corinthians 1:27 that says " instead God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And He chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful" - NLT. There is nothing I am going to write here today or in the coming weeks that will be from my own limited understanding except what I have learned and what I hear from The Holy Spirit.

I AM AN EZER KENEGDO & SO ARE YOU! This is what God wants you and I to know and what our enemy, Satan wants to prevent us from realizing. But before I go any further, if you have never heard of the expression EZER KENEGDO before or even know what it means, allow me explain. Until recently, I had never come across it myself but simply put it means 'Helper Suitable'. Ezer is Hebrew for 'to rescue', 'to be strong' while Kenegdo means 'a counterpart for' or 'corresponding to'. 

In the Bible, Eve was presented to Adam as his 'helper or help meet' as many translations have it (Genesis 2:20-22) however many times this has been misinterpreted to suggest that woman was created to be man's assistant. In truth, what God intended was to make a strength for man that would in every way correspond to him or even be his equal. For detailed history on this, please read Word Study On Ezer Kenegdo
