WHY GOD CREATED US & WHY THE ENEMY HATES US

Thanks so much for coming back today guys and thank you for reading last week's post on this very important message I know God wants to share with us as His daughters. Last week I introduced who an Ezer Kenegdo is and today the goal is to try to get us to understand why God created us and why the Enemy hates us.

The 'help' we are created to offer as Ezer Kenegdo to the men in our lives is one that both God and the Devil understand how much power it carries hence why the latter chose to address Eve in the garden rather than Adam (who it was that received the direct command from God not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil). This means that as women we can be used by the Enemy to cause distractions to the assignment of the man/men in our lives if we allow it. These distractions come in many ways such as stubbornness, pride, a perverted lust for power or control, seduction, gossip, maliciousness, jealousy, anger and on and on. The Enemy hates us because he is aware of the spiritual covering (aka help) we offer by virtue of our very nature and so he goes about doing everything to kill that assignment/identity we have in Christ. He can attack us as children or when we become adults through violence against our spirits, souls and bodies.

So think of sexual assaults against you as possibly a child or adult, all kinds rejection from fathers or the opposite sex to abandonment, consistent failure in relationships, toxic or abusive relationships, loss, betrayal, self loathing and feeling unworthy of any kind of love. These and many more cause us to become overly passive or aggressive, neither of which is the way God intended for us to represent Him as Ezer Kenegdo.

I look back on my own life and can definitely see where the enemy has tried to stop me many times from coming into this knowledge even up till recently. I have been raped, felt abandoned and rejected by the first love of my life for being a sickle cell carrier, involved in failed relationship after failed relationship and finally a toxic marriage that left me feeling unworthy and unlovable. Even when I lost my brother, I struggled for a long time believing that my life meant anything but praise God I have been set free from this darkness and transformed into the truth of who God says I am so never again will I hand over my power to the Enemy. The Enemy wants our power but Luke 10:19 tells me that "behold I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you". So I know for sure that I am a threat to Satan's kingdom and he hates me because of it. He has tried to stop me by any means necessary by getting me to despise men, despise relationship/marriage and despise myself but God has given me victory.

The same is probably true for you. The Enemy may have come for your power by attacking you in various ways to keep you distracted from assuming your true identity. He has fed you lies and caused you to experience hardships that are better imagined so you can live on this earth powerless and ignorant of who God created you to be. Remember that the bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12 that "we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" and to take on the whole armor of God.

Fallen Eve is still at the mercy of her Enemy but Restored Eve is not and certainly doesn't need to be. She is free and more powerful than him. This is why God created us -  to rule and have dominion on earth with our counterpart man, to express His influence and Kingdom in all the earth and this is the very same reason why the Enemy hates us because if he can stop us from being the spiritual covering for our men, then it is his kingdom that will prevail on earth. For as long as we hold on to the bitterness, resentment, anger and unforgiveness for things and against people that hurt us, we will never walk in the fullness of our God given identity as EZER KENEGDO. I had to learn this and so can you! Ask God to help you through it, go to Him with the hurt and trust that He is loving and powerful enough to break those chains. Believe and declare that you are free and 'by the words of your mouth, you are justified' - Matthew 12: 37

Next week we will look more into how we can express this identity in the lives of men. Hope to see you then!

Excess Love,

Ibogirl
