CREATING MY VERSION OF SISIYEMMIE'S PASTA TAGLIATELLE RECIPE

SISIYEMMIE MADE ME DO IT! ☝😛😛

If you want to learn how to throw down in the kitchen even though cooking isn't your thing, then SisiYemmie is your plug on YouTube.

She made Tagliatelle Pasta recently and instantly I knew I was going to try to recreate it. You can find that recipe here on her YouTube channel incase you want to check it out. I love pasta and make it often at home but have never attempted using palm oil which is what sisi did that made me want to try it.

The type of pasta she used is called Tagliatelle, hence the name but I didn't have that so I used the Penne Pasta instead which I actually prefer. Her recipe had a couple of ingredients I either chose to customize to my liking or just generally skipped altogether. Check out all the details to making this delicious meal below. It's pretty easy to recreate:

INGREDIENTS:

1. Penne Pasta

2. Chicken Breasts (cut into bite sizes)

3. Palm oil

4. Onions & Bullion Powder (aka Knorr Cubes)

5. Pepper mix

HOW TO COOK:

1. Heat up palm oil in a pan or pot and fry sliced onions on medium-low heat for 2 minutes

2. Add your protein of choice( you can use any you want or combine two different things). Sisi used cow skin and fish. Season with knorr/buillon powder and stir well. Leave to cook for 5-8 minutes.

3. Add your pepper mix, stir and allow to cook for another 5 minutes while stirring occasionally.

4. Cook pasta until al dente. Drain water and add to the sauce, combine well and leave to cook till soft. This should not take longer than 2-5 minutes.

5. Give it another thorough mix. Turn off the heat and leave on stove for an extra 2 minutes. ENJOY!

The palm oil gives this meal such a unique look and taste that I really enjoyed. You can garnish with some fresh parsley or parsley flakes if you have that and Bon Appetit! I served mine with some coleslaw on the side and it was a hit!

Let me know if you will be recreating this dish and if you do, tag me on IG 😊. See you again soon with another recreation but I think the next one will be a mocktail recipe I found on Pinterest. Can't wait to share!!!

Adios!
