I was so excited to share my version of SisiYemmie's Tagliatelle Pasta recipe last weekend that I forgot it was time to upload my make up look of the month so I'm sharing it this weekend instead.
I feel like this is a great Spring look owing to the vibrant burst of colors on my clothes that helped inform the makeup. I chose this African fabric (Ghana Kente) from my mom's closet and allowed it inspire what I ended up creating.
I chose green for my eye lids and played with a mix of light yellow and brown shades for my crease. Not sporting my natural hair this time, I went with my super curly afro wig and skipped on jewelry except my rings which I simply cannot do without.
I experimented with 2 different lip combos to see which complemented my eyes the most and I think the dark ombre lip works best for me. What do you guys think? Leave your comments below. You can also see that this look works well with or without a scarf. It all depends on how you're feeling in the moment I suppose.
I could go as bright or as dark as I like when it comes to styling which means going casual or dressed up with the rest of my outfit. So black jeans, blue jeans, bright colorful pants with sneakers, slippers, heels or mules for those who wear them. Accessorize with a cross body bag, tote, waist bag or clutch purse to complete the overall look.
